Annie made the lessons fun and also went above and beyond with tips and ideas for things to do locally while I was in town. (5/5) My father was born in Guanajuato. His greatest regret was the decision to not teach his children Spanish. As a Latina born in Texas, I remember Spanish speaking was NOT allowed in school. Annie has helped me tremendously overcome a lifelong self consciousness to speaking Spanish. Annie’s teaching style blends her clear understanding of the “bones” of the language with a friendly and accepting manner. My listening abilities and everyday conversational skills have improved exponentially. Annie’s patience is inexhaustible and I highly recommend lessons with her both on line or in person or both like me! (5/5) Annie is a wonderful teacher with lots of knowledge! She helped me improve my Spanish a lot and gave me more confidence speaking it. The lessons are fun as well and she is a super friendly and patient teacher! I started learning with her (in person) when my Spanish was quite basic and took classes again (via zoom) when I was already on a conversational level and in both instances Annie provided exactly the lessons that I needed! Can't recommend enough if you look for an engaged, reliable, kind, experienced and knowledgeable teacher!

(5/5) Annie is an amazing instructor! She helped me learn Spanish for about 4 months this year while I visited Guanajuato. We met a few times each week, and I did various lessons she assigned on my own. My Spanish improved tremendously. I also learned a lot about the Mexican culture because of our discussions. She is really good at speaking with you at just the right level of Spanish so you can understand and get better incrementally. I highly recommend her.
