They will improve your Spanish capabilities and expand your worldview with thought-provoking discussions. The lessons are really creative and engaging! I love the conversation-based teaching approach they use as well. Can’t recommend this school enough!!

(5/5) This is the place in Mérida. The owner is also an exceptional teacher who is onsite every day. My intensive course was both focused and fun. The exercises and games systematically practiced the material presented. It was challenging. I was especially impressed with the depth of home-grown curricula related to Mérida and the Yucatan; while I was practicing my verb tenses I was learning about places of interest, historical figures, local legends, and artists. There is coffee, and there are three cats who sometimes demand attention. There’s a place down the street close enough to get a smoothie and a croissant during your twenty-minute break.

(5/5) Hola Spanish School is an excellent school to begin to learn Spanish, or to bring it up to a new level. Upon my initial email inquiry to the Hola school, Nidi promptly responded with full information, then online test (to see where I fit) and then she was able to accommodate me into a class within a short time. Fernando was an incredible instructor! His teaching experience shows, in the impressive academic method with which he conducted our one-on-one week long course, and his incorporating general Spanish conversation and grammar usage into the course, which I need. This was my 1st time to Hola and I will be back for more Spanish instruction.

(5/5) I have been taking classes with Hola online for over 2 years now. My Spanish went from somewhat beginner level to being able to have conversations with most Spanish speakers. I focused on oral conversations, which are usually the most challenging part of a language. My teacher catered to that until I wanted to learn more grammar, so he also adjusted to this. They will adjust to what you want and the best way for you to learn. This is learning by online immersion, in my case, and my vocabulary and verb conjugations have improved immensely. I highly recommend them if you want an easy-going school with private lessons. They will do their best to work your class schedule to fit your lifestyle. They are also amazing people if you go in person. I highly recommend Hola Spanish School Mérida whether you are a beginner or brushing up on your Spanish. Well worth the money!

(5/5) I was in Merida in November. I had the pleasure of attending the school for a week. Everybody was great, and the classes were interesting and fun and educational. I was staying in El Centro and it was not that far for me to get to the school. Very good location. I wish I could have taken a class for 2 weeks but my schedule didn't allow that. I am hoping to get back to Mérida soon, and I will be attending Hola again. Well worth the price. I wish I had found this school the previous few years when I came to Mérida.
