(5/5) My time studying Spanish at Agora has been truly amazing. Anne, the director, was super helpful and somehow managed to get me into the perfect class at the last minute. My advanced group ended up being just two people, which meant tons of speaking time and personal attention - such a bonus!Our teacher, Claudia, has been incredible. She made every class fun, practical, and full of real-life Spanish. We’ve taken colectivos (the local mini vans) around town, visited local markets, and even chatted with staff at two hospitals (which was perfect for my professional interests). It never felt like “school” but more like learning through great local experiences.If you’re looking for an immersive, friendly, and genuinely effective way to learn Spanish in Playa del Carmen, Agora is the way to go!

(5/5) This school is wonderful. I’m so glad I ended up here! Anne- helped me arrange private lessons, before I came to town. She was so accommodating (I came the week of Christmas and on very short notice) and very patient answering my many many many questions. She is lovely. Isa (bella)- mi profesora! Absolutely wonderful. My Spanish was rusty and I only had time for three lessons, but she got me back on track! She is so kind, too.This was a great experience and a good value for private lessons. Thank you both so much! I hope to be back soon 🙂
