(5/5) Spanish with Alma truly is language learning “with soul.” She is so positive, kind, engaging and meets students wherever they are on their language journey. She is flexible and will create a format that fits with your learning style. I spent mornings with her for a week and we divided our time between classroom study and active fields trip including: botanical gardens, eating and touring the neighborhood market, cooking class and pottery class…all the while incorporating Spanish language learning. Some of the time was one-on-one and some was with a group. It’s a very “go with the flow” experience, including cultural explanations, partnered with rigor in understanding verb tenses. You can’t go wrong attending this school whether it’s a single hour or a week long schedule. The price is also affordable. ❤️💕❤️

(5/5) This was the absolute best thing I could have done in my week in San Miguel de Allende. I had 3 different teachers throughout the week, all of them spoke very clearly and coached my speaking throughout. The mornings are in a classroom with structured learning tools/aids, and then we did fun activities like making ceramics (which they're going to ship back to the states for us!), eating out, visiting local galleries, sites, etc. They were flexible and accomodating with the schedule. All of the teachers are clearly trained to be language teachers, unlike many language programs that exist (my husband and his colleagues took a different program that was 3x the cost and they all feel that they learned nothing). I've taken many spanish programs in many formats, and I learned more spanish on an hour-by-hour basis with Spanish with Alma than in any other leaning environment. (I'm a high A2 / low B1, for reference). They cater the program to your level. This is worth the price, and more. Just do it.
